Um... Not vintage, but I think the SC10T's they are building would spank my @$$!
Going to run it today as well as my Old But Still Old RC10, hope the track is dry!

I got my SC10 on Thursday afternoon and raced it Friday night, other than the stock tires and the POS RTR motor it's a pretty solid truck. I think I'm gonna call Paul at Xfactory and build an XSC60.
I'll have to take a picture of the RTR motor, the endbell let the bushing shift over about 1/16th inch and got pretty darn hot, I've never seen a motor do that in 20+ years of racing.
It might be cheaper to buy a GT2 FT off Ebay just to get all the Factory Team stuff.
Also I made a chassis brace out of some thin stainless I had laying around at work, I saved myself $20!!!

I just put the new Proline bowties on, M2 front and M3 rear, and what a night and day difference. I got the Pro line bead lock wheels for the SC10 as well and they look sweet with red rings on black wheels. They go well with my black body! Wish I had some pics to show you guys! SC10 is a bit dirty now!

The wheels are a little on the heavy side but they don't seem to hinder the truck.

Damn, I got the "reject" brace, which requires drilling extra holes into the chassis...
Truck looks very nice, Rod!
I would recommend some of the Trinity blue anodized shock threaded perches, to complete the look!

Damn, I never thought of running M2's on the front. I've been running the stock tires on the front with M3 bowties on the back since I got my truck, pushes REALLY bad. I just had the shop order another set of M3's. I just love the squealing sound the stock tires make. Ordered a VCS2 upgrade kit for the shocks too.

Why are you getting the VCS2 kit? Associated only recommends them for on-road. They just came out with these shock caps:

Is there something I'm missing?

What are these? I can't find them! If it's what I think it is, I'm using these:
