They look like the chassis tube mounts off of the flat plate(non tub) versions of the RC-10GT:

I like seeing the old but new carbon chassis ones. cant wait to see what the body is going to look like after seeing the job you did with the car.

You are correct they are the mounts i used, and then i pieced together (until i make new ones) some cut down standard front tubes. the two pieces are held together with some 4-40 all thread rod.

Nice chassis and I like the fact that it is allittle different than all the others. I want to build a retro car and try and make it a bit different but it's getting harder and harder to do. Nice job and more pics hopfully with the body on it.

awsome mind if i ask where you bought the c/f and how much a sheet? im looking for some reasonably prices most places are outragous. one suggjestion i would do a carbon front shock tower to match all the other sexy partsb

The graphite sheet came from McMaster Carr. it was cut from a 12"x12"x.125" sheet and cost about $85. no too cheep but you can get 2 chassis and some shock towers out of 1 sheet. I do plan on re-making the front shock tower at some point.

i saw mcmaster i can get my pops to order it and they have it to him the same day but thats pretty pricey ive found some for 55 but i really dont need alot

o is it possible to see the bottom. just wondring how the bottom came out .
