Lots of positive camber in the front too.

I might still use it on this...or on the pink chassis that I have...yep it's starting to look good..

Looking sharp tizeye, where did you get the titanium Turnbuckles? I need to get some for 2 of my built but not sure where to get them. Did you buy them in pairs?

I bought them off ebay..they were used..I've been trying to buy a set for months..it's been a problem getting the right length..they are always too long..try asking Bill Cline on here or maybe valkyrie-rc-motorsports on ebay he might not have an auction right now for them but ask him I'm sure he can help..in saying that I now have a heap of leftovers what sizes do you want?

i'm diggin the 3pc wheels too

Yeah the wheels are nice not sure where they came from...I think I will put it in the BST section so it can go to somebody else to do the next parts of the build..

I really like the finish on the chassis.

So now it comes to the electronics...what should I use?..been thinking about brushless and lipos but have no idea what to use in this..so guys what do you think?..brushless or old school..I've got 2 weeks to get this thing finished so any help is appreciated..

Just the maintance (or lack thereof) is worth the cost, and the increased torque is not bad to boot!

Yeah but what is best suited to a RC10..I don't know nothing about them..

I would say a 3200 paired with a 17.5 or 13.5--the "smaller" 3200 case battery will drop right in the battery cup, and the motor will be stock/19t equivalant

Go with 13.5 sensored LRP, Novak or Tekin combo. The 13.5 is very drivable and has the punch to make all the jumps on most tracks. It has a good top speed as well! For batteries, 2400-3900 hard case lipos! Higher MAH soft case lipos will fit as well!

So what’s a 13.5 brushless is in comparison to a brush motor . I remember when a stock motor was 24deg and that was that.

Yeah that's what I'm having trouble getting my head around as well..

Yeah, this is where we as a community need to start kicking ourselves for not using some kind of power numbers to describe our motors years ago. Every 'big' car guy knows what horsepower and torque means, but we have no way of telling how powerful motors are relative to each other.

I am confused on the brushless thing as well; I don't need anything more powerful than the typical competition stock motor, but how the heck do I know which brushless motor fits that criteria? Eh, the cheap closed-endbell motors that come in many RTRs are getting really powerful, so I'll stick with those for a while. I am sure brushless is the way of the future, but I can still outfit 2 or 3 cars with inexpensive motors and ESCs for the price of one brushless system, and I wouldn't be scared to get them dirty either LOL
