Bad news, I emailed RPM about bringing their arm mounts back. Here's what I recieved back from them.

Unfortunately, it is unlikely we will be bringing our RC10 rear mounts back into play. The problem is with sales. Our sales had dropped to the point where it was no longer profitable for us to try and run that mold any longer. Additionally, those molds have been recycled so we couldn't run them again even if we wanted to. I apologize for the bad news.

i never get why they would "recycle" a mold, i know molds are expensive, but wtf, how much do they make by recycling metal?

only thing i can think of is that they re-machined the mold to accept a different larger peice and kept all the flow points etc.. but again that has to be just as expensive.. stupid lol.

i wonder what andy's/andy jacobson did with all the old molds, he works out at pegasus hobbies in ca, anyone ever ask him?

a few months ago i sent a set of rear arm mounts and quite a few other rc10 parts to chad smith at dynotech and asked him to blueprint them for cnc purposes. i will give him a message to see if he has made any progress.
if anyone here wants some cnc repro rc10 parts from dynotech please let chad know. he has my rear arm mounts, rear bulkhead, tranny case halves (2.25), front bulkhead (rc10t), and i think maybe some front arm mounts (rc10). i told him i wasn't in a hurry to get these parts cnc'd, but if there is more interest please let him know. that may get certain parts done sooner rather than later.
chad is a great guy and makes quality cnc'd parts out of nylon, delrin, or aluminum.

id like to see this happen...id like zero degree rear arm mounts but id be happy with any new rear arm mounts i could get...if i was dynotech id go threw the ae list of parts...theres a few parts they dont make anymore..if they made them im sure we would let everyone on the site know about it... heres what id like to see made for all the rc10 fans... rear arm mounts, rear bulkhead, tranny case halves (2.25), motor plate, rear shock tower, worlds car steering, and a thick graphite and fiberglass(cheap) chassis...oh and as far as nylon, delrin, or aluminum.
id say just use whats cost less

as soon as i hear back from him that some of the rc10 & rc10t parts i've sent him are being produced i will let the rc10talk community know about it.
chad doesn't have most of the associated parts for blueprinting that's why i sent him the parts i want made. if anyone has other parts they would like to see chad make they'd have to contact him and probably send him the parts to copy.

this is why i dont understand why dynotech does not do zero degree rear arm mounts for rc10..i raced oval and always thought a rc10(or rc10t) with offset battery chassis, 2.25 trans with slipper eliminator, and zero degree rear arm mounts made the best oval rc ever

i agree, and i have a dirtoval rc10. i also have other dirtoval cars, but the rc10 is my favorite and i feel it works best at the local track i race at. i use an old rayborn chassis but trimmed the front kick-up to accept a 10t front bulkhead, i use klien (worlds car) arms which are cnc delrin, and speedyracing towers. i made my own kydex t front bumper.
i think eventually dynotech will at least offer 0* rear arm mounts for the rc10. i did send chad a message and he will probably reply within a few days or so. i told him i want cnc'd replacement parts of all the parts i've sent him. i'm sure he'll then offer these for public sale if there is a demand. but i'm sure this'll take time, unless the demand increases. that's why i think anyone who wants similar parts from the rc10 (or 10t) should let dynotech know. if chad has several customers asking for rc10 arm mounts, tranny cases, & bulkheads, he'll probably get them out sooner rather than later.

I sent Chad an email at the same time I sent one to RPM. I haven't heard back from him yet, but I'm sure he's just busy after the holiday weekend. I would like to see 0 degree and 3 degree mounts, but I would settle for just the 0 degree ones since hubs are still easy to come by.

Wow, I'm happy to hear that Dynotech is considering making some of the harder to get obsolete parts. Please keep us informed on the progress Chad is making. Thanks!

What I would do for some 0, 1.5, and 3 degree billet aluminum rear arm mounts, whether from dynotech, HG, gpm, whatever...

im willing to part with 1 trans...i have what looks to be a double stealth trans!!!!! it has 6 gears in it and solid gold bearings!!!!! ill even put on a motor plate that i got off ebay "modified for brushless motors"

WOW! Solid gold bearings in a double stealth trans! I need me one of those

I've been contacted by several people about these parts, rear arm mounts.

Do you guys want the anti squat in the mounts or is zero anti squat fine?(zero anti sqat would be cheaper to make and cheaper for the end user)
