The ultima RB and the RB-R are two different cars. The RB had slightly different supension components spoked rims, and some other differences. The Type R was a more accurate clone of the B3 and even came with Proline tires and wheel (from the B3 series of cars). It is actually very nice.

I just bought one, and have not had time to tear it down and rebuild. However, I seem to remember it was an atemp by Kyosho to re-enter the American market. So they produced a car which had many SAE dimensioned parts. Bearings, diff parts, etc. -Things that would be easy to get at the local track. We will see. -Jeff

Ah, yes the Ultima RB Sport. Now the memory is working better. I should check my old Tower catalogs.
