I asked if the Traxxas Bullet would qualify as "Classics Class" and I was denied...

Where can I find a list of entry level vehicles that qualify for the classic class?

Hey Dirt...

There's no list per say, but you can always post on the Off Topic thread that I started, "VONATs Discussion", post what you're thinking of driving, and we can always discuss where it might fit...

If you have a pre 94 r/c car, there's definitely a class for you...

I read this in an excellent review of the car : the bullets outdrives are plastic molded onto a metal part. What you need to do is drill a small hole through the plastic and metal and press in a roll-pin

In addition to that, the plastic that was used on the outdrives, axles and sliders were made from a different type of plastic. So, if you have to pin the outdrives, you'll most likely have to pin the rear axles.

Hi,
I just picked up an Icarus to add to my Kyosho collection. I think the Oil filled shocks should help the suspension a bit especially over the friction dampers on Pegasus/Bandido. I have been looking into the Cosmo also and it has a different front end without the flexible joint arms. That would probably help even further. Unfortunately the Cosmo front end is pretty hard to find, however all the other parts are easy to find and cheap. I have just finished a Pegasus runner for that reason.
