Well, got to dads house and dug out my ultima from storage. I have test fitted the knuckle carriers, I haven't got the king pins yet, still in the mail. I used the shim that comes with the knuckle set for fitting to the ultima arm, but it needs different shims because it don't take up all the slack. So I went to the LSH and bought some kyosho shim set, and some E clips to replace the missing and bent ones. I will post more pics about the shims later as they are packed away for the move. Here are some pics of my test fit. Keep in mind that the car is going to be completely torn to pieces and cleaned before reassembly.

You can see I had cut the top plate when I was younger so now it needs replacement. Also where do I find the shock bottoms that thread on to the shaft that mounts to the control arm.

I don't think I need it, but I will let you know, I won't really know for a couple of weeks after my move and we get settled in and I tear the car apart and see what all needs replacement. I can't wait to get into it and start the restoration.

I was also wondering why it didn't have more bids too, the hot trick one I was watching last week sure got attention lol.

So who was the best hop up brand back in the day? It seems like AL was one of the best, along with hot trick. Are these companys still around under a different name? Seems like trinity is the only ones to have made it to today, and they are even doing a name change now to epic.

Here is another item I am looking at

here is the rear shot, note the spacer (comes with dogbone kit)

i used RB5 clamps, but the stock pressure fit plastic peices would work too.

Original Hubs (rb5 hubs dont come close to fitting.

I did pick this up however, anyone heard of it before?

only ever seen it once before: another member here picked it up in his LHS. I don't remeber seeing it appear on any builds yet.
Shoot some detailed pics when you get it please.

I will be sure to!!! Hopefully I can move in to my new place tomorrow, and start unpacking and hopefully the movers will be here to unload my stuff then I can get to work with the project!

I know there is another post of the carbon chassis kit on ebay, what do you guys think, is it better to just have hop-ups from the era of the car, or modern hop-ups like that? I asked the seller if they can countersink the bottom of the chassis, and they said yes upon special request. It is a little spendy though, but not too bad, I would have to sweet talk the wife to get that one lol hehe.
