Might be no reason for it but... Why is your slipper pad and plate on the outside of the spur gear? Any advantage?

it's a double slipper. there another pad and hub on the inside. the spur is andwiched between them.

I'll have to try this, don't like the messiness of the hydra-drive. All XX Kinwald have this dual slipper?

Yes they did. The spur is slightly different to the hydra drive one - it accepts a pad on either side of it. The disk plates are the same either side though.Richard wrote:I'll have to try this, don't like the messiness of the hydra-drive. All XX Kinwald have this dual slipper?
