I can't tell what type of motor guard that is, but I used one from a traxxas. You'll still have to drill a hole in the motor plate You can modify the traxxas part to mount between the chassis and the rear mount (in the notch).

The motor guard is from an Ultima Sport (p/n RS45). Which Traxxas part did you use?

It's from a blue eagle, but it's also used on a number of traxxas cars. It can easily be modified to fit on an ultima. It came in 3 colors...blue, grayish, black.
