Although some of those paint schemes aren't to my taste, what I can appreciate about your bodies is the variety of your paint jobs. Some people seem to fall into a rut and you see the same colors or schemes over and over again...the same flames or tribal blah-blah or the same 3 major colors, for example....but I like your variety!

I am on an orange/white kick lately...

See the TCP, Baja & Blitz. My current RC10 adds silver & black to the orange/white. Maybe it is me getting old, but I think I may finally be settling into a set paint scheme.

FWIW...the scheme I am settling for is pretty basic and old school feeling, no flames/tribal/lightning/digital camo...

I race occasionally, LOL.

Zero on the Academy stuff left over. At the time I was going through 4wd buggies like water, sometime I would only have a car a couple months before I got a different one. Sometimes I would bring 2 different 4wd buggies with me to race and pick the one I liked the best that day! I have finally shaken the 4wd bug and dont own one at all. A runner Pro Radiant would change that though

I race the most at Pegasus, really like the people there. To be honest, I have the most fun running in the JBRL series, different tracks, really tests how good of a driver & how good you can adjust your car to different conditions. Every series race is like hitting a large regional or dare I say national sized event. Some of the best drivers around and fierce competition. For the record, yes, I get my butt handed to me....

well crap joey, you got both ryan's out there, babcock, hohwart, tebo, and basically the who's who that race there nearly every week/end. and to top it off you have all big factories out there as well. like i said the best tracks in the world.

you might get your ass handed to you, but think of it this way- you could put yourself in any other track in the country and do VERY well. because you're around the pros and teams that basically let you know how to tune your rig like it's suppose to. how many other tracks have that accessibility? not many.

by the way, I HATE YOU.

Tebo lives in MO and Maifield lives i AZ, but yes, the majority of the fast guys are in CA. Even the guys you've never heard of like Steve Butts, or Don Vinkemulder will put the fastest guys at my local track to shame. When I raced in San Diego I was lucky to make the Bmain!.

and to top it all off....I think I am going to attempt to run my vintage against the big boys this year in JBRL (2wd Mod). I've been doing everything to set the cars up for 2wd no-timing/no-boost stock, but Mod is just calling me. The first couple races I will probably just run a boosted 17.5, maybe I will step up to a 13.5 with mild boost or a 10.5 dialed back after that.

Cavaleri, Root, Hartson, Truhe, Bradley, Kinwald, Kortz....to name a few!
