I know, and I then told you I had the same set-up in mind for a roller... I'm actually also hunting for a used graphite chassis, just to lighten it a little without having to make cheese out of it :D

I took some pics of my ride before the first run and unfortunately forgot to take the camera to the track this weekend , but some bonus pics are included below... The A&L rear trailing arm conversion is SO cool to drive, the car is quite heavy but it handles very good and rear tires are litterally stuck to the ground. The only minor problem I had was the front battery cup that unscrewed a bit, I'll use some double-sided tape and that will be solved. The good old Novak was powering it pretty well and the 17T motor was good enough to have fun for 10 minutes! I ran my B4 and Lazer ZX-5 for the official races, second and TQ and win respectively :D

I raced my RC10 with A&L trailing arms at an indoor track this week-end against 10 modern buggies with brushless systems and everything, there were RB5, XXX-CR and B4... I qualified 2 and was finished 3rd  The car was awesome, and I could have done better with good tires, in fact I decide to participate the day before at 11 PM... This was a good impro I guess. Action pictures will be posted later on...

Why is there a quarterpipe on the track? Was it at an indoor skatepark?

Probably more likely what Asso had in his spares box (like the front wheels!) :P

what you said hkp, I don't have spare long front shocks and the tiny ones work pretty well. Problem with the front wheels is that when arriving at the track I realised that a front wheel flanged bearing was in 3 pieces  , and the only thing I got was my B4 front wheels, they're a direct fit... Now, if only I had time to prepare the car, I'm sure I could have done better... Oh, and the A&L trailing arms are funny to run, but not very effective...
