figured out a name for this one..

MODERNIZED

update********

ran into a bit of a problem with the rear drive system....

the goal is to use gt2 cvas with the posi lock quick change

here are the issues i ran into.
i wanted to use the rpm hubs originally but,
- rpm hubs put the drive pin 2mm too far into the outdrive, and they bind at full compression..

so i tried a set of t4 hubs but,
-t4 hubs put the drive pin right on the edge of the outdrive.

so whats next....??

i can do one of two things..
-cut the cva bone and shorten it for the rpm hubs
or
-cut the cva bone and lengthen it for the t4 hubs

but i dont like cutting up brand new parts... even tho ive seen brian kinwald do it on his xfactory cars..
so maybe i could use a losi hub????? or taking suggestions

here are some pics of whats going on

some RC10 projects with RPM team car arms are using B4/B44 alloy hubs and milling out the inside so that the longer B4 cva bone will fit the out drive properly.

Are there other CVD Bones that would work? Like from the Duratrax Evader or other trucks? I just was not sure if their was a difference to the CVA vs CVD. Just throwing my 2 cents in?

The Evader was a XX-t re-release, and the CV cup itself at the tranny is a larger diameter-Gregg and I toyed with the idea of a Losi CVD outer 1/2 that might have a different offset
of the shoulder to pin distance-
