Save it. I'm not one to keep things in boxes but a new built buggy is pretty sweet. Buy a basher to run. You'll have more fun because you won't be worried about beating it up.

Not that it matters - but i wonder if the OP is still even monitoring this thread. Looks to me like he might have joined only to ask this one question...

? When I think about how many cool cars I had sold or destroyed over time, no matter how many times I look at a video or pictures... it still does not beat being able to open a closet, box or cabinet and being able to hold the car in your own hands.

But then again, I guess everyone has their own level of "Collecting Craziness"

I was thinking the same thing which is fine.

I am the type who would build this thing and put it in the case, there are plenty of old beaters out there to bash into immovable objects. 8)

Build it, but if you intend to run it at least buy a used nose-plate and chassis to run it with. These get rashed up rather quickly, and there is no turning back after that. This way you still can have a nice looking shelfer after your done playing around running it, and if you intend to sell it does not lose as "much" value as a rashed up chassis and nose.

I would save it and buy a beater.

I still feel guilty about using a RC-10T NIP nose plate I located at a hobby shop on my RC-10 runner.

Well like optional CVD's or RPM arms, Electronics as well.

But it would be easier for you and you would get more responses by starting a thread of your own.

I joined to learn about the car. Dont want to ruin something that some one might get more out of because of what it is. Its just a toy to me, and I like to play with toys.

Well, if it does not do anything for you as far as nostalgia and if you are not a collector I would sell it to somone who is and buy some toys with the money.
