Jason, your exactly right. I didn't even consider this issue until I was putting the rear arms on. The original plan was to put some See's aluminum wheels on this build but that was quickly scrapped when I realized I had to go reverse offset. Right now the rear is at 9-1/4" and the front is at 8-7/16". Not really ideal. I do have a slant nose 911 body that has a flared rear. Might work out. Good idea on the CW rims.

I remembered this car from the old Hyperdrive ads, just never thought I would find one. I can't imagine it was a very popular conversion. I also have an Advanced Racing on-road conversion. I'll try to get some pics up. The front end is different but it excepts the 6-gear rear end. I wasn't racing on-road back then but these could not have been very competitive against an actual pan car.

these would've been run in a "gearbox" class, not against direct drive pancars. rc10 and jrx2 buggies converted to onroad...... stuff like that.

Here are some pics of the Advanced Racing on-road conversion chassis. The front end has a caster rocker design to adjust the caster of the front blocks.

Oops, thanks for the correction.  That's a good example of me trying to do too many things at one time.

Not a problem on the bumper. Shoot me a pm with your email address and I will send you a scan of it.
