Was the conversion to get back then...I still remembered having to take out grass that gets stuck in and around the chain...:)

You had to het it fast! Duratrax was discontinuing the kit because AE had the Gt comming out. :idea: :idea: I never had problem with grass getting in the chain drive. Just the chain breaking and stripping the diff. I made a steel diff sprocket and all sprockets and added a SS chain. I replaced the stock tank with a 75cc. Now I get 10 min run time. I run mine so hard I had to replace the complete clutch system. I wanted different gearing options and found pinion gears that worked with a little modifcation. I now have 13,14 and 15.

Nice DTX converts guys. 8) I need to work on mine, but my resto GT is on the bench now. Do y'all have a line on any parts for these, besides the bay?

I have not seen many of these kits. On this site is about all I have seen. As for parts on the duratrax kits, yeah ebay, or for sale section here maybe. I think I might have a set of the upper decks for the chassis, but that is about it for spares. Let me know if I can help.

i had one of these and sold it not knowing what it was :evil:
