yes, I've seen these on nitro buggys/trucks/contraptions before I knew what they came off from. Held up fine on oval.

Awesome project. I remember wanting to build a gas powered RC10 very badly after seeing the hybrid made with Kyosho Assault parts in RC Car Action mag back in the day.

yup brings back many memorys for sure. When those were around in the begining most of the guys would use the stock rims that came with the stock RC 10 buggies. THEY work then I cant see why they would not work now. BUT then they were new at that time. 20 years later depending on the condtion I would think they still would . BUT Today you have alot more ways you can go and things your do with it now.
NOW I know what minds looks like as a gaser. THE last one I saw was back in the 90s . I think IT looks neat. keep up the good work. DON THE Rustbucket. IF I had any pictures of one I would have been more then happy to share what they look like in there day. THE Rustbucket.

Rustbucket's project got me motivated to start working on my rc10 project.
thanks buddy :P

got a lot accomplished in 4 hours of tinkering with the project.
i mounted a rc10buggy body (i think a CE body)
swapped out the buggy rear bulk head/tower for a GT bulk head, after the that i made holes in the dummy body and it fit perfect.still need to take a buggy shock tower and cut in half so i can mount the rear shocks.
installed the motor, tried to fit the body again, only need to trim the body around the rear driver window for the engine head to stick out, pull start is in the open. the muffler will hide out under the driver side of the body thanks to the straight side of the tub on the driver side.should have a complete buggy here in a few days, after that itll be tear down and make it nice.
(kinda like they do on american chopper... build the bike up,then tear it down for painting/making it pretty)

just a teaser update for now, i will try and do a photo shoot tomorrow once i figure out my camera problem
