Thanks for the info Erik.

Alex, thanks for the email, the copy looks great.

the main reason I was looking for this manual was for the belt tension adjustment. The rear belt is easy enough, the rear diff mount is in slotted holes.

for anyone that has these cars, how is the front belt tension adjusted??

I don't think there was anything particular. Some aftermarket belt guides are adjustable in height... I think you could either use that principle: adding spacers to bring it higher up. Or you could add some extra mounting positions more forward for the most forward beltguide.

Personally I'm just running it standard

Nice looking YR-4. I used to race this one back in '95 and loved it. So much I stupidly sold it on the Bay a couple years ago. One hopup I had but never see show up anywhere is the 2 speed for it. Running it with the Trinity Ruby was just stupid. I think mine was the first edition. ( I had dyed the bulkhead covers, links, ect...)

Turns out that I have a Japanese Build manual from 1993
Title says

YOKOMO 1/10 SUPER TOURING AND GT 4WD
INSTRUCTION MANUAL 1993 9

I also found a

YOKOMO YR-4 HANDBOOK

which is 12 pages long and is in english
It has following headings:-
Technical Data
Essential accessories
Batteries and Motors
Tools
Screws and Nuts
Building
Chassis Adjustments
Treating the battery
Exploded view
Partslists
Tuning
