Just got my B4 slipper pads from Sr8p and try fitting it to a hydra top shaft and B4 slipper, amd it fits right in.
Will try to post some pics tomorrow.

Yes, BTW, AE slipper plates and Losi slipper plates are interchangeable. I have AE plates on an LXT with a Losi spur....

Okay so the dummy of the group just showed up. LOL (me)

Can someone walk me through exactly what I'd need to do to make this happen with an original JRX2 gearbox and spur etc.

Do I need to change the spur gear shaft? Do I just need the slipper plates and pads etc like stated earlier? Sorry for being a noob on this but I really want to run brushless and want a real slipper.

yes, you need the LXT, Pro SE slipper shaft for the LRM tranny (part # unknown by me)
the slipper parts I outlined above & current spur gear
gear cover made for a slipper set up

So i tried installing my B4 Slipper plates to my Jrx2 Pro and have to remove some portion of the casings output hole for the backing plate not to bind with the casing. and below is the final results.

Image

Image

the clearance between the motor plate and backing plate is small, i wonder will this wobble on a BL powerplant.?
Image

Tried experimenting on without removing (reaming) the tranny casings output shaft hole.

you can see the difference.

after reaming a portion of the casings output shafts hole. for the backing plate not to bind when in motion.

now i just have to find myself that RPM hydra cover for losi and AE hahahah...
