I always thought those cars looked weird...like a skinny chick with way too much junk in the trunk. :?

I look at it as the Assaults big brother.

I picked up one recently. I first thought mine had a Rowdy Baja cage, but when I compared it to my RB cage, it was different. The car has never been run...so I tend to beleive it was orignal. Below are the auction pictures...

I posted a link to that action, Nice to see it in good hands. From what i been told the mk1's are that same as the earlier mk2's just different roll cage. The later mk2 used plastic front a-arms like the ones on the silver arrow. If your looking for the original front bumper i have one left its new in package.

Heres a mk1 like yours

Hi everyone newbie here. I have a bluebird conqueror. Have a question mine has
plastic arms in front. I see some of yours are aluminium. are they aftermarket?
I've been in rc for years finally I find a place to help and get help. lol.
Bluebird is one of my projects putting brushless motor in it. I'll add some pics when I figure
out how too.

I think brushless and lipo would kill the pot metal gears quick.

Well looks like it's time to bring this thread back to life  So I picked up one of these Blue Birds today and I must say, the thing is built like a tank. The one I got today isn't complete as you can see, but it's still pretty cool. The thing that really cracks me up on this thing is, the whole thing is built heavy duty, but the steering rods are so flimsy and just don't seem to fit in. Oh well, it's fun to look at though. I don't have the time or money to put into it, so going to throw this one on eBay. I'm sure someone can use it for parts or repair.

Flimsy arms that will likely bend in a crash, and it still has a rather heavy duty servo saver! Someone didn't think that one through.

Anyone know where to find these cars now? I am interested in acquiring a couple BlueBird Conquerors.
