I couldn't care less - Losi should be ashamed of having released bushing cars

Thanks for the kind words, glad both sites are proving useful. It is fun distraction from my normal job.
It has actually taken all my time away from my pinball hobby lately.

Awesome update to vintagelosi.com 7-18

Today is a big update day for Vintagelosi.com, at least as far as I am concerned.

Eat your heart out Associated fans, we now have a Parts Compatibility page on vintagelosi.com.
http://vintagelosi.com/Parts_Compatibility.html
You can search by part number or model to see what fits and what doesn't fit. You can view it on the vintagelosi.com page with the pull down menus or download the graphic pdf version to use on your computer or portable device.

On the web site it is a long page listing with 1K 2K and 4k at the top. The number ranges with far more parts, 3k 6k 9k, are farther down. I could have made scroll boxes for each section, but that looked ugly and was a pain to use. There is no 5k 8K or 7k section, maybe in the future as time permits. I just didn't see them as being the entirely useful or easy to really say what is or isn't compatible without testing.

I think this will be handy for anyone looking for parts at a store and wondering which model can use them. It is pretty cool to see what parts are the most common across all "vintage" models.

-------

I can't leave out some other additions to the site.

Updated Extreme Parts List, it lists the changes from previous version on front page.

Thanks to Reggie(Charlie don't surf) for providing new additions to the Photo Galley for the Jrx2 and Jrx-Pro SE.
Thanks to David(Asso_man!) for providing new additions to the Photo Galley for the Jrx2.
Thanks to Jirka for new additions to the More section. (Jrx2 ad, Shock Oil ad, Team Losi ad)
Thanks to Matt(YZ-10) for new additions to the More section and Manuals. (Losi apparel and XX Transmission Addendum)

Hopefully I didn't forget anyone.
ENJOY!

Thanks guys, glad you like it.

I first made it to help myself with selling stuff on oldrc.com. It allows me to organize what models work with a part a lot better. I realized others would find it useful and had to share.
If you notice any errors please let me know. I found a few right before it went live. Very easy to put something in the wrong row or column when I was making the chart. I made the chart first and then thought about how I could get that data into another form.

If anyone is feeling motivated they can make a chart with the other part numbers that I didn't do. :)

4-5-12
Did a little reorganization and some additions to the site.

Added instruction sheets for:
Light Hydra Drive Fluid
XX Rear Sway Bar
RPM links for JRX2 and JRXT
Located in the "Other Instructions" section of the Manuals page. http://vintagelosi.com/Manuals.html

The More page was revamped for the breaking out of the Parts Reference pages. http://vintagelosi.com/More.html
The parts picture section was just getting to large when I included the XX and XXT parts. So I have now separated them out.
The Parts pictures have been broken up into 2 groups. There is a Pre XX section and a XX section. Even though GTX and NXT are not technically pre XX, they are lumped in with the Pre XX group because of part similarity.

Next on the agenda is making a parts compatibility chart for the 5000 numbered parts. (shock parts) I wasn't going to do it, but I now find that I wish I had it for my own use.

5-4-12

As promised, I finished the 5000 parts compatibility list. Shock parts are now all covered. I started on the 7000 parts and realized I still don't care to tackle that one and probably never will make one for those or the 8000 parts.
http://vintagelosi.com/Parts_Compatibility.html

In the process of working on the 5000 parts, and looking at the 7000 parts, I found some changes for the complete parts list.
So there is a new version of that as well.
