Find Rod online with GT5, wall him the entire race and then tell him Reggie says hi, then tell him the 25 year thread needs to be updated.

I have me and one other buddy that will be campaigning them in the JBRL series, trying to get some more guys to bring them out to start a regular class. I know there is one other guy on the OCRC thread that says he wants to get his running also. It would be great to get a regular class running.
damn, that sucks. i would of thought that in socal there would be a shitload of former club racers and pro racers rigs being used again. too bad socal raceway isn't around anymore. i could bet that would be a different story with more entries in the vintage class'. and that's probably why you guys don't see many people joining.

you guys have ocrc, the new west coast, and the other tracks down the road. too many kids that don't know anything about the older rigs. and the older dudes already have too much invested in their current rides with time and money. adding an older rig into the equation would be a waste of time and money for them. unless there's a pool of people running them again and throwing them in with the jimmy babcock series, than it would be popular again. but for how long?

i think the only people you're going to see joining are the ones that aren't racing currently and want to bring out the old ride to see if they still have it in them. but you know what makes it funny, is that everytime you see an older rig on track cleaning the floor with the newer rides it makes you wanna do it too. look at ruffy and the other guys in florida. that's why i want in too.

the other guy in the ocrc thread, is the one that was running a b2 at ocrc for while. he had the nimh's, brushed motor, and an older esc. i remember that guy was doing good and giving the newer rigs a ride for their money. i think he finely caved and got a t4 or b4 rig.
