That was the advantage of the Turbo dyno, you could set up the steps to whatever parameter you wanted. I remember being told that setting it up in amp steps was a good way to go, because just as you noted, you were trying to find the best motor in the amp range you used. I know tuning 540 silver cans for Tamiya series races, I was looking more around the 15-30 A range for F1 cars on carpet. The average amp draw was probably around 12-15A, but looking a bit higher would also show which motor would pull harder out of a corner.

ya i know another oldie but this is what i am looking for
will have to read 2 or 3 more times to let it sink in
but looking for info on the pse thor dyno you talked of it in here a little
please talk of it some more

we bought a long time local club racer out 2 years ago
an ended up with one so trying to find out all i can
i am a weekend old time racer we run legends an a L4 brushed small bull ring
with the brushless set ups
hay 1 question for you
some of your pictures dont show up i get

over top of a picture of a cat
am i doing some thing wrong
or dont i have access to some things yet
