Did the previous owner put those tires on it or did you Lexus-5?
Too bad it isn't a "no-stamper" as I really like those the best.
I currently have two no-stampers and a 3rd one enroute to me, arriving on Friday.
Still this is cool that you were able to find one from a "buick" estate sale. I guess it pays to go to those things

Can I be nosey and ask how much you paid for this? I only ask because I'm curious what something like this goes for in an estate auction....

I don't know if you will get the answer but I have wondered the same thing. My feeling is that if no one else attached to the sale had a clue or researched it they probably sold it as a "toy car", which it is, but a rather expensive toy car. If it was because of a death there could have been thousands of items and doubtfull that they reasearched the value of every item. Though there are companies that come in a do that for you for a percentage.

things usually are at "fire sale" prices during estate sales, like the Restored Opel GT and Pre 68 Beetle that my wife bought for less than 2k-

well crap...you guys get lucky with estate sales and garage sales. Around me most auction items go for near new pricing (or more!) and it seems that if someone has something on r/c related they also are ebay oriented and price it like some of the 'flippers' do

.
by the way...nice find and hope you all come across stuff like this in your travels

I thought it looked familiar.
Is this thread an 'under the radar sales pitch? A great looking car indeed, but somewhat ackward to post pride in a vehicle that is currently for sale on ebay. I, along with other members of RC10talk appreciate being able to take it off your hands.

Hell, its one color more than I get around to doing.

I think the most colors I've ever tried in a paint job were three.

At least his wife understands that due to the nature of the hobby there are no refunds.
My wife knows that too...
