I was going to get rid of this buggy, but maybe I'll keep it and try racing it. It might be a fun one to build and race.

This is what mine looked like when I started running it last year.
Box stock! ran really well too! Notice the rear axles are not dogbones but B2-B3 universals so that I can use the larger dia. RC10 wheels from the B2-B3 era for todays tires.
My Gold Runner

Now I run a regular stock Stealth Transmission in it (2.25 ratio) in both Stock and Mod class with the regular modern buggies.
Good Luck!

Here are my current two Gold Tub racers (RC10CE's) that I race currently against today's modern buggies:

You can upgrade to the B4 threaded shocks but it won't improve performance. Although having threaded shocks is very nice for doing adjustments. I'm running the stock gold shocks with the new bleader caps and don't have any problems.

I just finished reading all 8 pages of Fluffy's 6-gear racer; on an iPhone. My eyes and head hurt.

I think I'll order the arms, throw a 13.5 combo in it and try that.

Can I use the springs from a B4 or do I need to find old springs? Looking for tuning options.

The B4 springs are the same as the originals, just the black springs can be a little tricky to find.

Also I'm not sure if the stock turnbuckles will work with the longer arms, they might be a little short but I'm not positive.

Good to know on the shocks. I was thinking about the turnbuckles earlier. I could probay find something that was the right length.
