But beware of the Optima Pro, as it has the battery in a more forward location, as well as an undercowl. I don't think those bodies are interchangeable with the others.

All of the info I found, makes it sound like that all of the Rear Motor models (Optima, Javelin, & Salute) are basically the same vehicles except the bodies.
Not really; my post #2 on this topic gives plenty of definite answers and details many of the differences between the Optima, Javelin, Salute & Turbo Optima. The Turbo Optima & Salute have quite a few differences from the Optima and Javelin, there's a lot more that's different than just bodies/rollcage.

If I found a any of those Rear Motor Chassis', could I just swap out the bodies (or roll cage for the Javelin)? That way I could have a Javelin or an Optima with just a quick swap.
At least that much is true, you can quite easily swap the bodies and rollcage of any of those 4 cars...but there are many differences beyond that.

Turbo Optima Mid: Optima Mid with full options (stabilizers, ball bearings, 2mm duralumin bronze anodised flatpan chassis, ESC ready)

The thickness of the chassis should be 2.3mm.
