I was intending for it to be buggies only (as per the title) but if none of the other guys object, we could make one exception...

How about 2 exceptions? I am working on a Losi XXT G++ build, thats gonna fit this build-off really well!

I think it's easiest to just create your thread in the appropriate section for your brand of car, and just put "MMV Challenger: Blahblahblah" for the topic title. Mine will say "MMV Challenger: Project Barney Optima Build" or something.
Could we 'sticky' the threads that are part of the challenge to each section perhaps?

No, we have to draw the line somewhere. Some people might already consider an RC10T an unfair entry because it would be different from all the rest...but I'll leave it the exception unless any of the other contestants objects.

I think Con2's truck is ok, doesn't bother me. Heck he's already started the thread and build
My 10 cents worth

Surely if there were a few trucks then its less unfair?
Does anyone object to my truck build entry?

No, we have to draw the line somewhere.
Cool, I will leave it.

Not to sound like a jerk or anything but CON2 had already submitted to the build at the start of the thread - which he may have not realized at the time was a buggy build - which is why I personally think he is ok - but as the thread states should be buggies (except for CON2s entry)
Just my 2 cents.

Here's what's most important about this build-off: I want to see you cut things up, fabricate parts, make things fit that weren't intended to, etc. It's not just about building up a car with all the aftermarket hop-up parts, for example. Anyone with money can do that. I want the entries to be creative, "thinking outside the box", even innovative...different, unique. Your finished car will be a one-of-a-kind.
And, I would agree with Maurice above, for that reason.

I dont think you should Andy, c'mon, it'll be really good fun. I dont see why we cant enter if there are spaces and no other entrants object. I really hope they dont, this will make it much more fun.
Failing that lets have an official Truck Build-Off in the same way....

There you go, there's no reason why a separate contest couldn't be done, with a completely different set of criteria.
P.S. Nothing about this MMV Build-Off is official. I just wanted a few members to showcase their creative modding skills. There are no prizes, it's just for fun.
