I'd hang 'em up over top of the transmission, use the bulkhead to adapt the rockers, and make the rear mount come off the motor plate. This way the pushrods would bolt on to the front of the arms where the shocks would have gone.

Quick update:
As I've mentioned previously, at one point someone decided to modify the chassis, possibly for running a recent battery pack, and that requires repair. I found some nice aluminum sheets of the proper thickness at the LHS. I've never brazed aluminum before so this will be a learning experience. I'll also attempt to fill in the extra drilled holes.

Yeah I can't wait to see the outcome of this. My buddy owns a shop that works with aluminum and I was thinking of taking some pans over to see if he can weld up the extra holes. He happens to own a powder coating shop as well which I think will come in handy.

Did you guys know that the difference between a 'brazing flame' and a 'cutting flame' is only a 1/4 inch according to the 'mnual' that came with my setup?
Did you guys know that a 'cutting flame' is HIGHLY effective?

Did you guys know that a 'cutting' flame will melt an RC10 chassis where you direct the heat?

I'd personally silver solder it. It's all technique but it is strong and doesn't need to get near as hot as what you are trying. Just use a very good flux.
