did you send one to me? i don't recall receiving one.

Bandwidth plays a very important role but not anymore than storage space does. you'd get shut down just as quick before even making it close to using 4 gigs of space. I own a number of forums myself and one of them is slightly larger than this place and uses more resources. Its hosted on a (albeit high tier) shared server with no problems as of yet which is mainly due to not allowing attachments.Eau Rouge wrote:That's not in touch with reality. It's more about the bandwidth used than the storage space. Space is cheap—bandwidth kills other sites and host providers hate big forums on shared servers. This one isn't even that big, either.Lowgear wrote:A discussion concerning attachments has been brought up on here before and these stats show why a lot of message boards don't allow them. This place could be hosted on a shared server for $20 a month if it weren't for them.
So you suffer from A.D.N and A.D.D !Lowgear wrote:Also domain names... At this moment I have 26 of them.
My biggest problem is I'm involved with way too many different things, and don't have the money to spread around between them all and can't give the full devotion that each one requires. So consequently nothing ever seems to end up at the levels they should be at.
You just made me realize that I haven't built an RC10 since the late 90's. I do own one though so that has to count for something!
Well damn. That means you own 26 more domain names and one more gold pan than I do!Lowgear wrote: I do own one
