thats only a question you can answer, what are you going to do with it? is it going to sit on the shelf as it is a new build or are you going to run it?
if your going to run it then yes you should use a slipper. if your putting in a brushless you will need a slipper for sure.

NO, don't run it! It does have thorpe gears and ball bearing diff with ceramic balls and schumacher diff lube which will be strong if you don't go crazy. But I think you should just look at it.

I probably would look at it 99.9% of the time and run it for the rest of the time.

However, it will be more enjoyable to admire it if there is a nice slipper set up :)

the slipper would not be period correct. Though you are set as that RPM gear cover will hold one.

the SE came stock with a slipper but I went back and looked at the pictures, and I see you built it as a Pro, not a Pro se. but the CC chassis is a pro se

The pro shock towers were more a function of the the trinity shock size. The front size trinity shocks were too short for a SE tower so I went with full set of rears. It reminded me of what many were doing back in the day on the JRX with the long shock fronts. If you could go back in time with this one and show up at the local track you would certinaly win the bling bling points race, which given my lowsy driving is something at least
