the battery tray is made of metal thats bent in the shape of a 7.2 cell tamiya type battery...

Here are the Mini Mags and Grand Prix's I picked up from Tony. They are in pretty nice shape and should work out nice on this resto.

Little update here guys. Been busy with other projects but plan to get back on this and finish it off. Here is the chassis with the aluminum Mini Mags with Grand Prix tires and the Motion Graphics painted Willys body.
