Good luck! Looking forward to seeing some pictures.

i'll try to get some pics, i'm pretty bad at remebering to take pics at events i'm racing it.

they are doing a demo derby, i'm entering my m03 mini cooper with rally tires, i don't think anything will be able to take it out, it's a brick!

well that might be my first and last "big rc event".
by the end of the first day everyone looked like the walking dead.

friday "controlled practice", basically same format as qualifying:
start time 8am, end time 11pm. i thought that was too long, boy was i wrong.

saturday "qualifying":
start time 7am, end time 2am. made friday seem like a breeze.

sunday "mains":
start time 7am, by this time i'm hoping myself and the guys i'm with don't bump up so we can leave as soon as possible.

i don't understand how that can be considered "fun". no one looked like they were having a good time, not even the pro's.

last thing i need is the thing that makes me happy, not to make me happy anymore.

i'll stay local. that big event stuff is for the birds.

I agree about long race days. By the end your legs are ready to give out between marshalling and waiting around.

i've been to long race days, but this was extreme. more like rc boot camp, except in real boot camp i think you get more sleep.

7am-1am is insane, no matter how you look at it. couldn't even get a decent meal by the time we got out.

this has nothing to do with how well i did, i didn't expect to do that well but i did expect a good time. (i'm not the type that "has to win at all costs")

if it wasn't for the smack talk and joking with my friends i would have gone insane. lol
