And to bring a couple of pics to the thread, here's what an hydra looks on my worlds car... by the way if someone can visually spot what is wrong with the assembly, please do, as I cannot get the right amount of slipper slippage with it (there's always too much unless I tighten the spring till it pretty much bottoms out)...

maybe some of the losi guys will chime in on this. but i remember an article someone posted about the hydra drive. i think it was with losi jr, and they asked him about the oil in hydra drive. he commented something about the stock oil equaling 1k (or way more) in diff oil today.

Is there an inner slipper hub attached?

On my T2 its...shaft then inner hub, slipper clutch material, spur, hydradrive unit, ball raced washer, spring, spring hat, nut.

you answered your own question. yes, the inner slipper clutch hub for the stealth. not the losi.

This thread is getting great. Thanx for the pics guys! I have heard 100K diff fluid is the way to go. I ran in to a guy today who had original hydra drive fluid unopened and it seemed to have the viscosity of 100k. Anyone else want to confirm please.

Well that's the weird bit, mine looks just like that, with the AE slipper half (not the losi's). I've pulled it apart 5 times already and scratched my head numerous times, I just can't figure it out. The only thing I'm thinking of is that it;s the wrong spring (too soft, or worn out)...

I've left that worlds car alone for about a year now as I was so frustrated not being able to get it right. I guess I'll try again!

cheers

must be a couple different topshafts out there because mine didn't use any associated parts.
