Don yes your parts certainly helped man. Thanks again. I don't think this car will ever be finished though. I couldn't be happier and the other chassis is about done as well so maybe with a little luck I can have another DO. (Damn bad luck(11-2012)

Took the car to the hobby shop today and it got noticed. People said I need a better body they said it doesnt do the car justice, but that it was nice. I guess she aint done yet. I then had a guy offer to let me use his faster motor so I could run with them. Wish it wouldn't have been so hot i woulda stayed and played a while. $5.00 for the day I woulda paid it.

Now one last thing i would like to get done to the car, aside the shorter posts, I would like to have some kinda support for the chassis that will look proper and bolt on or off as needed. Any ideas?

No conversion yet but i did slow down enough to run it today. Not at the track but did get some dirt on it.

I know I still have a few things to get straightened out on it but, for now, the car is done and will return to the shelf.

Don, two words for ya you tube! Here just click the link......................https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_4NTTTcKFg Most recent I could find for ya

Anyhow for all you dirt oval guys, what springs do you run. Id like options but there is so much sh+t out now I just do not know where to start.

Windtunnel seems to have alot of different springs, colors, and sizes. As you can see I already have adjustable aluminum shocks.

Oh Don get ahold of me I wanna talk about the ds's

I just saw this thread, Bent. What class requirements are you running that in? I'm sure it hooks up nice on that track. ...BTW where's Warsaw,Tx.?

Russ--To answer your first question I dont know yet. A: It is illegal for the street stock even though its not brushless. B: I have no rules for any other class including sprints, yes I can make this car a sprint with the right body. To answer your second question, No clue have not ran the car yet on that track with this setup. Hopefully I can let you know this Saturday. Its a nice track but its also 65 miles one way. If it runs there like it did on my track I have good expectations. I do need a spring kit though. The adjustable shocks are nice but some diff weight springs would really help. And to answer your last question its a place where I can hide in Texas about 65 miles from Wild Bills.

Here is the last time I had this car out there. Yes the track was wet but I manage to roll the car as well.

Vintage88--Yes Don has really helped me get parts that I've been after. An yes I did get this chassis and lowering kit as one from him, I added my trans and shocks and steering and other bits.

I am on the look out for a edm body or a template to make my own. And a set of grooved foams.
