Is the 10T stealth trans the same as the CE stealth trans?

Yes its the same, motorplates the same tranny brace will work too..Sixgear motorplate doesnt have the extra bottom screw hole so if needed could be drilled to work w stealth trans.DON

My next step is trying to figure out how I can get ahold of some correct front shocks. Looking at them on Ebay it is nearly impossible for me to tell if they are the longer (.71) shock bodies.

I found some top load shock bodies. So, could I buy the regular rc10 front shocks and just swap the bodies out to make correct shocks? I am guessing these are different... but

Maybe, the front 10T shocks?

Anyone have any ideas?

Yesterday some parts came in allowing me to get some work done. I also found a nice original box for it:

I had the parts in HP within 30 minutes after mailman gave them to me...then soaked two days in sunlight. When done soaking I got through the first section of the manual...then I hit the stealth trans section. Scratched head wondering "what now," so I had to stop. Then bought that other junker off fleabay.

There is a guy in the Kyosho forum that designed his own Optima Mid in less time that it took me to get this car where it is now.

We need a community addiction therapist...some more than others (those with 75 cars ;)

Thanks for help on parts. Now for this car I just need...

No prob, will give it a bath. New yard gets sun all day. Still have about 1/2 gallon of it left over.

It has been slow going due to moving, but I finally got a bit more work done on this beast.
Need some help on the front wheels. The tires have TQ71 on them, but I cannot get the wheel bearings to work properly. The usual smaller bearings fit snugly into the wheels but the bearings are then too far into the wheel to actual work correctly. Are the wheels the wrong ones? What size bearings do I need, if the wheels are correct? Have a new pair of rear wheels on the way and a pair of TQ21s.

Haft to use unflanged bearings for those wheels.Cant remember the size.If have an old sixgear around i think it has the bearings in it that will work. But you haft to tear it all the way down to get at them.DON

those wheels use the same bearings as the current B4/T4 trucks (or B4.1/T4.1). None of the original bearings work (well, in the stealth they do, the upper 4 bearings are exactly the same).

thanks guys...I checked all the bearings you guys mentioned and they match the books specs (3/16x3/8), so I ordered 4 of em.
