Btw, I just wanna say if Bo hasn't stepped in and sold this chassis I was very close to building the Rocky as a vintage dirt oval Dominator killer with an offset G10 chassis. I have enough parts saved up I may be able to make that happen again. It may get weird!

Update! I grabbed a TBG Turbo Rocky body but was less than pleased with the look. Going back and looking at pics of the stock Turbo, i think the body is just ugly and the built in wing is poo poo. I recently found a nos standard Rocky body for a good price on the bay and had to have it. I went super simple on the scheme, and smothered with decals.





Same car underneath. Need to install electronics next.

I like it a lot! My first real rc was a Rocky. I still have it and it's in the queue for restore.

I think it turned out great. Sure stands out a lot better than a box-art.

Looking back at it I wish I had added just a splash of yellow

It looks like a competetive buggy with these shocks and that paint job -

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Gold shocks. The standard Rocky body is much better looking than the Turbo version in my opinion.

They had another buggy or car that used the same set of rims, do You remember which?

I was not aware, was it a scale car series? I always thought they were unique to the turbo rocky
