Nice cleaning job, I also found that citrus based soaps work very good for cleaning white parts. The fron parts will work fine for a buggy (they are the same on truck and buggy), but the rear hubs you have there are from a RC10T and recently tried to mount those on a buggy and the problem is that the bearings are quite lower than in the buggy hubs, leaving not enough clearance between the CVD's/dogbones and the rear a-arms... Let me know which white parts you need exactly, I have a BUNCH of them from my previous restorations

Hmm, during todays (LATE last Nights) assembly, the Hub Carriers seemed to be fine, BUT I did discover that the Outdrives would hit the Rear Arm Mounts. I didnt like how far back they set the Arms anyway, so I took the Arm Mounts from the DS. They are "recessed" for the Outdrives and even move the Arms toward the front a bit. Tell me if this looks like its ok. They seem to have all the clearance they need through a WIDE range of motion.

Thats a FRESHLY Rebuilt Stealth there too!!

Cleaned and Lubed all Bearings, and the Diff.
Now, I obviously, desperately need a Rear Shock Tower. Do Buggies use "Special" Shocks, or same as Trucks?
A Black Nose Plate would also tickle me pink.
Are the Axles on the Buggies supposed to be the Small ones? Can the Smaller Axles (like T3) be used on a GT, can they take the Torque?

Alright, how bout if I put them in Quiz Form?
1. Are the Wide-Trac Arms "period" for the "92-ish Team Car" I call myself trying to build?
2. Do Buggies have their own Shocks, or same as Trucks?
3. Are the Axles on the Buggies supposed to be the Small ones? (Big like GT, Sm like T3)
4. Can the Smaller Axles (like T3) be used on a GT, can they take the Torque? (cause I have BUTTLOAD of T3 Rim/Tire Sets)
5. Where can I find this AE Timeline discuused in another thread (I looked at AE Site, but..), and do they have Timelines for Parts also?
Bonus: How many different Stealth Diff cases are there, and how can I find each's application?

yes you have the 2.25 stealth and yes it is the same as the 10T. The 2.25 stealth also has rescessed bolts into the trans case.
The T2 mounts to the back of the bulk head and to the chasis.

It appears that the majority of the parts are from a 10T Team Truck...it also appears that it would be easiest to built it as such.
Just my opinion...

I know.

I knew.

But I ALREADY have Trucks (T3s and Rustlers), and I REALLY want a Buggy now. I dont have the money to buy another Vehicle. Thats why I was hoping to Trade for most of what I dont have, then SLOWLY buy the rest. I AM waiting on pics of "almost" everything I need from someone. Of course, THEN I'll have to get on the Hunt for some Shocks. I DONT KNOWWWW!!!!!
Its not like need another anyway. I have more than 25 RCs (1/10 Nitro/Ele 4WD/2WD TCs, 1/10 Nitro/Ele STs, 1/8 Nitro MT). I do NOT have any sort of BUGGY though!!
Im gonna go look around eBay at Parts, and Rollers...AGAIN. I cant believe this turning out so difficult.
Thanks for all the Help, Suggestions, and Comments so far, Everyone.

Build the truck as a truck, sell the truck as a truck...spend truck money on a buggy. Done.

Well, I got a package in the mail today. It was this picture, except for the Tires (I GOT Tire/Wheel Combos), Driver, Knock Offs, and Lights. I didnt even have to give up any of my Vintage Parts. So, I guess now Im runnig a Double Build.

The Chassis seems in "too good" of shape to drill on and alter much (more). There are only two small holes you can see in the next pic that dont seem to "belong", and some sort of Clearance Notches at the rear (3rd Pic). Not "too many" scratches, but the ones it does have, are pretty good, as you can see. It looks like it has been covered by a sticker or something. Ive seen something mentioned somewhere about "A" Stamped Chassis. Is this it (3rd Pic), and what does that mean?

I would LOVE to trade this nice 6-Gear Gold Pan for a Chopped Up Stealth Black Pan, and not "Spoil" it. Am I putting TOO much Value to it? Again, I would RATHER use "Ok" Used Stuff for me to play around with. I may even try to Copy the Gold Nose Plate for the Black Chassis I have.
Need some Rear Tire/Rim Combos to match the Fronts (BADLY worn front tires). I have those Hole Shot or Bow Ties (dont remember), can I run "Modern" 2.2 Wheels? If so, I guess I could just use a Set of Modern Rear Buggy Wheels. If someone has an old 6-Gear I can afford, or trade out for, I could go Gold Pan Buggy, and Black Pan 10T.
MAN, I REALLY wanted to do a Black and White Buggy.

So, are there so many of these ("A" Stamped, 6-Gear only) still around that its doesnt matter if I go ahead and drill this one?
