have you solved the B4 cvd depth issue? it looks like you will not be able to compress the rear suspension without the ball end of the dog bone bottoming out and limiting the travel. B44 rear CVAs are the route to go, they are just marginally shorter then the B4 ones, so the depth issue isnt an issue

it already has b44 cva's. he just needs to take that huge stack of shims out of the inside of the hubs and use the b4 spacer on the outside.

thinking about my shock options now.
Do you guys recommend standard v2 threaded shocks or big bore? Will B4 shocks work as a direct replacement or will some modifications be needed? What about the TLR 22 BB's? I thought that I have read somewhere on here that someone ran the TLRs and liked them.

I ran the TLRs and like them, but I put them back onto my 22. You will need to run modified towers, RCCarbonworks.com has the towers you need. Big bore or standard bore, all a matter of budget
RC10 stock shocks are 1.32 rear bodies, 1.02 shafts
RC10 stock shocks are .71 front bodies, .71 shafts
B4 stock shocks are 1.18 rear bodies, 1.02 shafts
B4 stock shocks are .89 front bodies, .71 shafts

Oh yes, it was within a thread that I saw your post about the TLRs. Good to know.
Is the modified shock tower only needed if I wanted to run big bore shocks?
Thanks for the shock stats as well. Am I to assume that the B4's are not a direct fit? Or are these marginally close? Or will some other modification be needed.... like the shock tower as you mentioned above?

the shock towers I mentioned are for modern shocks, standard or big bore. The front tower is a touch taller, the rear tower is a touch shorter. The rear tower includes holes for B4 or Kyosho wing mounts as well.
Front:
Rear:
With TLR big bores & B4 wing mounts:

Sweet! That makes a little more sense now. I also love the option for wing mounts! Good to know.

Thanks to everyone thus far for assisting me with my RC10 project. Back in the day, all of these options were not as prevalent - nor were they really needed to a great extent. But with the aftermarket parts that are available now for our vintage car resurrection, the sky's the limit. I love it.
More parts have now been ordered as a result.

if you're talking about the shock towers, the front one pictured above will not work on your car. you need the narrow "worlds" style tower they offer.

yes, if using the truck nose/longer arms, you need this tower:
you can run standard front buggy shocks or truck front shocks:
