Hey Uncle Sam, can I at least get the courtesy of a reach around??!
I hear ya man! Tell him to reach over here while he is at it!!

I don't discuss alot of political issues myself, way to may opinions and thats what they are. Yet we are entitled to them.

I may not have the same defining circumstances, but it is all the same!

Interesting comparison.... I'm up here in Darwin for work at the moment, and they've had a change of State government recently. Since then, the locally owned resources company (PowerWater Corporartion) has put up the prices on power, water, and sewerage removal by at least 30% EACH.... it's being reported the AVERAGE family will be paying about $2000 a year more for just these essential services, based on similar usage. As one local put it to me yesterday, "I can handle it for power, but not for water..... the damn stuff falls from the sky!!!".

Scary thing is, this is only just the first increase..... the government has stated there will be CPI increases as well.

Lucky I'm only visiting.....

Thanks for the apology Thumbs. :? Also, thanks for the reminder that I should only come to 10talk to talk rc cars. I used to never touch the off topic section, but the last 4-6 months have been kind of dry for new and interesting threads to me, so I came on in. But I' m done now. See you in the other sections, where we all share something in common, the vintage toys...

The new house I just moved into runs on propane. I forget how big the tank is exactly but it's over 1,000 gallons and is buried.
