OK, not had much time to donate to RC, but, i think i have a decent front end now. The shocks got a second rebuild, i ordered the Y part sprue washers that were missing from the lower seal cap, and, all round new seals, they feel way better.
Managed to fit the front Nimrod arms too, and clean up the steering knuckles etc, may need to shim the fronts a bit, but ill get to that.
Im quite happy so far, its clean, its shiny, and my word for a vintage car, its very snug and smooth, I'm amazed its took me this long to finally acquire one!
Tomorrow, I've a bit more time, so hoping to finish up the roller, fingers crossed, then i can move onto the body shell, loving the carbon effect in the Nimrod bits though, so trick.

Forgot to update here, oops. Almost there now, much of the car is now new, and I'm in love lol, my new current fave, this really is a stunning looking buggy, its been a long wait too. The TBG repro body is superb too, fits like a glove. Just need to fit a new spur, and mount the electrics, and were ready......i will fit a vinyl chassis covering though, don't want to mark it up, even on astro/asphalt......I'm not bashing this one.
I may yet swap out the Tamiya 11t super mod, for a stock sport......I'm not really looking for a screamer in this one, more a cruiser.

Those are very cool shock springs! Never saw springs with a square wire instead of round, before!

Those are Tamiya's hop-up springs for their Hi-Cap (and Sleeved) dampers. Very nice, come in 3 pairs a pack, but very hard to get.

The rear tires are Square Spike tires, i think these were only issued with the Super Astute. The re-release DynaStorm and Top force had Spire spike tires, not sure about the first release DynaStorm.
