hahaha, I've been doing sublime tracks in the vids (my favorite band), that one track fits the length of the vid so I used it. I keep getting emails from the copyright natzis though

I don't have the dual wheel adapter nor any MT type adapters. I think that one of those options could work though not sure. I could imagine either might be kind of rough on the tiny T3 roll pins. I wanted that old school kit on ebay a while back to play with, but I missed it so I made my own "kit"

That link you posted earlier, looks like that company is a reseller, I see some of those are integy skis and the rest are what I have now with some $ mark-up. The skis cost me ~15 bucks at my LHS

I'm determined to make it work in all conditions, but I would be happy with waiting for crusty snow to run it. I plan to take Dons advice and see if I can mount some aluminum angle under the skis to make them grab more, a little weight up front will help some too.

That is pretty cool! It moves out really well, better than I expected.

The skis work OK with buggies too as long as you use some kind of spike tire. I tested a B3 with Schumaker spike tires which went OK, but it would work much better with say truck spike tires. In the B3 test, I didn't swap out the front shocks however 1.02's upfront would be more ideal especially if you plan to run truck rear tires. It's been a pretty cool and fun project. I plan to try other set-ups after the next storm, there's no snow at the moment

I started getting this ready again for the winter months Not a whole lot of changes, but I did take Rods suggestion and bought paddles (thanks Rod ) There's a bunch of mods to this truck if you look, lets ignore that for now and focus on the conversion besides the tires which work waaay better, I added tie rods to the skis which keeps them fixed as opposed to pivoting as before. I might try that a few different ways or an alternative idea I have, though this works pretty good for now. Also, I may make new skis out of kydex or put extra fins under the snowbirds, I haven't decided. Anyway, lots of fun TRY IT!

Instead of the tie rods, might want to try some small shocks...maybe some of the plastic ones on the 18B or 18T, to keep it cheap... Pretty flippin' cool little setup, for sure!

Yeah the shocks were the alternative idea I haven't tried yet. I'm going try them up front, I think I have an idea how to mount them (not as straight forward as you think due to the castor angle). The fixed skis work pretty good, but it puts a bit of stress on the castor block.

Still need to figure out the shocks but for now, another video from last week
