HopMeUp and myriadmarketplace both screwed me over the exact same way, then left me negative feedback after I left them a neutral on the problematic auction. I won't touch their auctions ever again, and I wouldn't want anyone else to deal with that crap, either. They are both female sellers, too. Take that for what it's worth. :|

So yesterday I idly wondered whether I could post paypal/ebay claims of my own against this guy for not posting the item which my ebay/paypal indicated I paid for.

I did, yesterday afternoon.

This morning he cancelled his dispute and claims they are now in the post  We'll see if they turn up or whether they get "lost in the post". All this over $0.99 item!!

But do you realize how much there is in fees?

  :P :P

We just had a good one the other day from a scammer. They bought one of our electronic books, then claimed they never got it. Server logs showed a complete download just minutes after the sale. We figured this to be a scammer wanting something for nothing ($3 item ). and responded with our usual tech response of how to find the file on your hard drive, spam filter issues, etc. They came back with that the file isn't on their computer and that they couldn't find it even if it was - they wanted their money back!!!!! (lots of attitude in all of their communications ) So, the process is to file a "non-payment dispute" with paypal, Send them an email stating what the process is and how it works, then paypal sends them a notice. We've yet to hear back from them.

I'm SSOOOOOOO glad I no longer work with the public in customer service, I might have to hurt someone now-a-days! LOL
