A brief and possibly boring update for you:

Nice new shiny and bright rims with new rubber:

Now then, I've tried my best with the wing and to be fair it's looking a bit better. It was quite discoloured before but a soak in Vanish and Fairy liquid got it looking a bit brighter and I dare say the application of decals will make it look better still. It'll do until I can find another wing.

In other news the bargain Novak Cyclone I won twelve days ago has yet to arrive but I did manage to bag myself another one and an Mtroniks SM800F Turbo yesterday so fingers crossed they turn up and work ok. I've also ordered some repro decals for it.

Looking good buddy. Want a couple of old skool Novak decals for that pooch? I have a few i can sort you mate?

Ok I've had a rummage through my wheels and tyres and these are probably the best complete set I've got. Told you they were rough Lee They should still be ok to use

In other news the Novak Cyclone has been wired in. I had to put right the previous owners iffy soldering but it all works but for some reason it does not want to work with my Spektrum DX3C gear but will work with my old Planet T5 2.4ghz. So it's had a bench run and it's as quiet and smooth as anything

Another little update for you. She is now a runner! Novak Cyclone paired with an Epic Shark Attack 13 turn motor. Gone modern with the steering servo which is a Towerpro MG995 (can't be beaten for the money) and I'm having to use my Planet T5 2.4 set up as the Cyclone wont work with my Spektrum gear.

Right that's it, I can call this done for the time being. It's far from perfect but I wasn't aiming for perfection so I'm pleased with how it's turned out so far. I do have another shell that I'll have painted up at some point but for the time being I'll leave it there. Enjoy the pics
