Super pised I missed the auction with those ds aluminum arms. I was half thinking of making this into n alloy ds. Price was not the problem, just missed the date. Hopefully when and if I make the bst I'll have an opportunity to get them or the like.
Speaking of which did any from this board get that mip? You know what I'm talking about. I want to see pics from the internals

looks like it's gonna be an awesome build!

yes, there is some difference between early and late bulkheads, in the area where the trans brace bolts up. with an aluminum chassis, you end up flexing the chassis and the brace roughly the same without a spacer. With a graphite chassis, all the flex is going to be in that trans brace. I would guess the spacer thickness at roughly 1/16"-3/32"

here is a pic of my car with a shim under the brace.

Here's a comparison using a couple of older AE bulkheads (Early/long wing tube version on far right):

Here's the Andy's bulkhead connected to an REC gearbox with AE graphite brace and included spacers:

I'm not sure what's up with your situation gomachv, but I know you purchased that bulkhead from me on eBay, so I'll take care of you. Let's take it to PM and give this man back his build thread.

some progress. Parts made are the rear wing mounts, battery posts, shock bases, transmission risers, Washers for shock off sets and an idea for body mounts (ribbed for some one's pleasure) trying to give a theme using the spacers used on the rogue transmission spacers. Just a mock up at this point.

those look like rpm arms on the car, what carriers fit that?

Yes they are RPM arms. Got the c-hubs on ebay sold as "ALUMINUM FRONT C-HUB HUBS CHUB B TEAM ASSOCIATED RC10GT RC10 GT RC 10GT ALLOY" by rcdamper. I don't know if they really will work yet as they are blocked up when in full upright position. Might have to remove a small amount of material on the front arms to make room for toe in.

Yep most of the blue stuff is gt stuff including the servo mounts. I'm going to make a different set that is going to match the battery posts and wing mounts I made. Glad to here that chophead.
