Love that motor plate Regg!!

I picked one up and it still has the black motorplate too.But all else is black cept for rear bulkhead.What did come on the TQ10?Stock white Edinger parts or Caddy parts?Mine has black Andys arms on it and houge bearing steering and a mip tranny thats smooth as babs bottom.And some weird turnbuckles ive never seen before.Don

Caddilac era parts- and there are 2 versions of the TQ10..early and late, different chassis and front arms and tower-

so if I had the other chassis, the one that isn't 'green/yellow fibery tint' what front arms and tower should I have? I've got short arms and standard 'two-hole' tower planned to go on.

There were actually 3 different chassis plates if I remember correctly. If all of the holes are countersunk, you dhould use the wide front end.

That's what I seemed to remember...I only have an early manual, and can't find much info

Not the same as the TQ10 chassis but it is the same as the old Composite Craft chassis.

Aside from originality, is one better than the other?

no, both are carbon fiber. one is easier to find that the other, especially in nice condition. the aftermarket chassis was sold in the same shape by at least 4 companies.

so for the wide front end looks like my chassis has all the holes countersunk...I'm looking for a 4 hole front tower right? Guess I need to start looking for one....

Jason, my chassis and most of the car isn't mint, just nice and clean. If you aren't using it, for sure it would fit the bill! shoot me a PM sir!

I think these carbon bits are generally awesome. Although I would miss not having the alloy nose with the cool logo on, plus the two metal nose tube rails. That whole front end screams RC10 to me. The flat carbon chassis look a bit Losi-ish. Don't get me wrong, they are lovely. REALLY lovely. But just do not seem as old fashioned as a nice metal nose. My favorite chassis so far is the Fibre-Lyte with a metal black nose.

The TQ10 is especially neat because it wasn't sold by AE, it was sold by horizon hobby and was the first departure from the tub. This chassis is even neater since its an early (hand routed, direct pan template) version that's never been built-
