another update
rpm arms are on
test fit the motor and stinger pipe i had (motor is bad so i need to rebuild or replace it hopefully the motor on the ds i just bought is good)
and test fit a body
looks like everything will work well (as long as i can find a route for the fuel line for the stinger)

ummmmm tasty old school
viper body came in today
trimmed and painted old school
just need a og sticker set
car is all done now until i can find a good cheap replacement motor for the o.s .15 that's in it

Looks good! I picked up some of the gold paint, I figure if it doesn't turn out like I like it I can always huff it
I can't help it, I have to comment on the front body mount. "Turkeys done!"

lol
i got the body mounts on my trip to the hobby store thats over 45 min away
they had a huge bin of old crap(again i call the old crap bin the gold bin lol)
everything was 50% off in the bin and the had a ton of these in there
i have been using the traxxas plastic ones (easy to cut down) but they are 5$ each at the close lhs
these came in packs of 2 so i bought like 6 packs lol
some of the other goodies in their so called crap bin

really cool project!!! that gold is really cool. looking forward to seeing how it runs!
