the b2 bit was just for anybody looking to do a b2 tranny,

i have the outdrive hubs, diff gear, drive rings, and case.

ive found gear sets, bearing sets, felt pieces, bushings, ball bearings.

ill try searching the web for other parts providers.

you are right that some parts are discontinued as ive not seen any of them but I havent been looking for those exact parts. I'll have to create a list of all parts needed not by associated part number but by what they are if they are a standard part. Id like to try and avoid 1 time ebay listings if possible so i can make a new list of where to look for others.

on a side note. I saw something about the rc10gt stealth gear possible interchanging with the original stealth transmission. Any validity on that?

just for clarification, im not asking about the holes needed in the chassis to mount the stealth transmission, Im asking about the motor plate.

so im looking at the parts list for th rc10's and im trying to find the difference in the hole patterns on the motor plate. the full plate on each isnt fully shown so I'm not sure if im seeing the difference between them b/c they look the same to me. Can someone show me a stealth tranny motor plate and just point out the different hole b/c im not seeing it.

stealth tranny says part number 6604

6 gear says part number 6607,6604]

If reading the parts list correctly, it implies they are the say.

6 gear plate has 3 mounting points, stealth has 4. you can use a stealth plate on a 6 gear, but in order to use a 6 gear plate on a stealth you must drill and tap the 4th hole.

i see it now, its the hole along the bottom edge that isnt at one of the corners on the plate.
