I've been waiting for that one to burst for a long time, and it looks like it isn't going to happen. The more money printed to save the economy (housing ultimately) drives down the pound, so making it cheap for foreign investors to buy our housing, then rent it at inflated prices, keeping prices up.

If bitcoin didn't go parabolic and get all of the current euphoria be it negative or positive, it could make it as a decent digital currency. It allows us to avoid Ebay, Paypal, bank trasnfers, etc. Have you ever tried transferring money internationally without paypal? My bank charges £16 to send money to a Eurpoean bank account![/quote]

Yep, you're right about the £ and foreign investors not to mention immigration. It will collapse in the end it will either be inflation or a currency crisis that drives it, when I don't know.
