Rodney but prefer Rod

Rodney is a bit too British! :P Funny because of my German heritage, but my dad seemed to like Admiral Rodney!

I wish more people would use their full names and not hide behind a screen name!

Some people would rather maintain some privacy on the world wide web, it's not about hiding behind a screen name. I'm also not on Facebook or Twitter. What people sometimes reveal about their private lives is sobering, and you can bet that contributes to identity theft & account hacking (guessing people's passwords from info they've put out on the 'Net for the world to see), and I think it's only a matter of time before some real sh!t hits the fan when a site like Facebook or Twitter gets hacked; it's inevitable. The bigger you get, the more of a target you become. That's why Windows & Internet Explorer are the most-frequently-compromised of OS'es and browsers, and why Norton Antivirus is the most useless of antivirus programs--it's the first one to be crippled by malware and have it's website blocked or hijacked in browsers.

I'm "Coelacanth" on every forum I'm a contributing member of, so if you're on a forum somewhere and see a "Coelacanth"...it's probably me. We 400 million year old fish are pretty rare. :P

Brian.

My silly screen name results from my impression that when I joined way back when, it appeared there were at least a couple guys named Al, so I say Y'ernat Al or You're NOT Al (Al Ernat is the driver of the Tamiya Super Champ - another story). There may be more Brian's around than Al's these days.

People with thick accents call me "Reach".

When I order pizza over the phone, 5 times out of 10, they write my name down as "Mitch"

El Duderino

"Look, let me explain something to you. I'm not Mr. Lebowski. You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. That, or His Dudeness … Duder… or El Duderino, if, you know, you're not into the whole brevity thing."

Always looking for an excuse to drop a Lebowski quote.

Ken or Benjy... I prefer Ken after years of ridicule in grade school over the name of a certain famous dog of that period...

Although, I'm also called a lot of other colorful names from time to time.
