Very cool.

Maybe a custom painted A&W, Dad's or I.B.C. Root Beer shell to top it off.

Or even a Dum Dums Root Beer flavored sucker shell.

Seriously?
Lol that would be funny
My dad ran brown and buckskin colors in the 80's so it may end up a tribute paint scheme

Finally got the chassis back and threw it together. It's....interesting!
I need to go thru my junk and find some fresher tires

Very different! I do think an A&W root beer themed body would be fantastic.

I like it from the top, but you should have a batch of the screws done too. They really clash.

Yes....but what color? Bronze? I've been toying with it but I put in some black screws and it didn't look great either. The bronze will surely be a different shade. I'm having a tough time with the screw color

go with a silver color on the screws. probably most neutral and matches rest of metal parts.

Stainless would work but not really era correct. Associated had non anodized flat head screws on something...10L for sure but that's later on as well. I may see if I can dig up some plain aluminum screws and see how they look. Maybe even a standard zinc coated steel screw should look ok and era correct. Hmm
