I know a guy that can make you custom decals. He does great work and is pretty cheap. A lot of the decals on my Cale Yarborough 10L were made by him. PM me and I'll give you his info.

I have a narrow Parma lumina body. Not sure if it will help you with what you're trying to achieve but its a lumina

I tried to make a Tide 10L back in '90s. It didn't go well for me so I hope you have good results.

Mine had bleed-through and the Pactra Fluorescent orange came out looking pink. So, I added some similarly-colored Novak stickers and it kind of worked. :)

This is an Associated Lumina body on my first-gen RC10L. Sorry, the pics suck, but so does the paint job. :D

Too cool,Kent,it's a pleasure to have you here. :D
This guy here says he bought your Insane Speed Run 10L,with the cup?

That 10L didn't end up looking so bad, bummer the paint didn't work out.
Maybe Kent can share what paints he,or is painter used on the car?

The IT Crowd ruled.

Paint is simple, just Pactra rattle cans in flo orange, flo yellow and white. I made templates out of lexan for the circles so I could paint at the track if needed, just lay masking tape on some glass and cut the circles, then stick them to the body and start painting.

The decals were autographics, unfortunately now very rare due to licensing issues.

I recreated the Tide logos in Adobe Illustrator if anyone is interested in cutting vinyl or making custom decals.

Thanks so much,Kent! :D
I found some 1/12th scale Tide decals,I might look at buying those and getting them resized and printed out in 1/10th scale.
Do you know if the BBS style rims you used still available?
What tires did you use at the 1991 Thunderdrome event, were they rubber capped TRC?
Thanks so much for your input!

From the photos it looks like I ran TRC BBS wheels with non-wraparound caps. I ran two cars at the race, an endurance car and a normal 10LSS. Some of the photos show white wheels, some show black wheels.

They stopped producing those wheels and tires about 20 years ago :)

Right on.
Those rubber capped tires were a blast!
I just found a set of Parma BBS 10L rims, but they're pink,I guess I could dye them black, but some white ones would be better.
How close are the Parma rims to the TRC BBS rims,at a glance?

Found a set of Twinn K rims and tires, they look pretty close to the TRC rims, close or no cigar?

I think the Parma wheels are the exact same mold. At times I used Pactra spray cans to paint the wheels black, but dying them would be better. You might be able to roll the tire off using some piano wire.
